Maybe because in education, the long-term results of a teacher’s vision and efforts materialize over years, I really appreciate seeing evidence of change. It’s satisfying. To see that my work makes a visible, tangible and positive impact brings me joy.
The leaves helped with that. Carpeted in red, then raked to green, the lawn transformed in a matter of an hour or two.
