How is it that redwoods grow so tall? One of nature’s beautiful mysteries that reminds me of the power of intention. They grow up. Up towards the light, standing among other aspiring trees, withstanding the elements over time.
The new year is such a natural time to reset our intentions. Maybe we have held the same inspired intentions for much of our life, and now is a good time to renew our direction and invoke some particular guidance and clarity for the year ahead.
I love the company of nature and the wisdom it brings to my path as both metaphor and connection when I slow down long enough to notice. What animals, images, messages will support my journey in 2013? I’m curious to find out as I make a new “compass collage” to invite and reset my bearings.
