The smallest space on my studio table seems to be enough to tell a story.  A bunch of buttons, paint swatches and a new painting complete.  I wasn’t so sure about this painting just before the last layer.  Was it done?  Had I messed it up?  Had I lost faith? I showed it anyway back in May, but now with the orange it feels much more complete.  Its title makes me smile because that’s really what the practice is about for me when I paint my color for the day: Escalate My Listening.  Listening for guidance, and my heart’s inspiration.
