See shell

This seashell has been sitting on my table where I see it every morning.  And, I don’t see it.  Not really.  And then the other day I was talking with my artist friend Karen and she was talking about the six patterns in nature.  What are they?  I suddenly got very curious, and fascinated that all the complexity of the natural world could actually be seen as six patterns.  One of them is the helix, or spiral, and my awareness is heightened.  Where else are spirals in nature? Sunflowers, cloud swirls, …and in shells seen and unseen.
